Me? Hm. Well…I’m a girl, but I’m assuming you’ve figured that out by now. I was born on a sunny day in California on May 30th, 1990. I don’t actually know if it was sunny as I was far too young to notice the weather let alone where my fingers were, but it sounds good like that. For those of you that are terrible at math, that makes me 20. I’m currently a SAHP (which stands for “stay-at-home-preggo” for those of you who don’t know). I’m expecting a little girl in May and am SOSOSO excited. I spend a lot of my time knitting and crocheting and creating a life inside me.
Why do what I do? I have a fond memory of going into my Kindergarten class as “What I Wanted to be When I Grew Up”. I had a stroller, a doll, a hat, and a blazer from my mom’s closet. I was a mom. I guess that’s where it started. I don’t know why I do it or why I love it but I do. The amazing feeling of a baby falling asleep curled up in your arms, the smile put upon your face the first time you hear a little child say “I love you”. It’s great-and that’s all there is to it. Why wouldn’t you want to do it?
What makes up a “Nici”? I’m one part cosmetologist, one part lover, one part fighter, one part nanny, one part babysitter, one part big sister, one part mom, one part nanny, one part model, and one part Nici. Basically, I have a lot of parts. I’ve got some private parts (okay, so I just added that in there to be dirty…everyone giggle!) and some exposed parts. Some parts are wounds and some parts are scars. Either way, these parts combine together to make me. Wonderful, wonderful me.
